Woodside Young Adults is a ministry aimed to help college students and young professionals in the metro Detroit area see Jesus. We gather weekly on Thursday nights at 7pm at our Troy campus.

Groups
We believe Life Groups are a great place to meet new friends, become more connected to the church, and grow in our understanding of the Bible! Groups meet throughout the week with options for both age/gender specific and co-ed. Our groups meet all across Metro Detroit – you can join a group today!

Outside of our regular Thursdays with After-Parties, we have a lot that we would love to invite you to be a part of. Finding community is very important to us and we’re here to help you find a place to belong.

We are a ministry that mobilizes our community into action. As you navigate and grow in who God has called you to be, we want to come alongside you in developing your gifts. There is a place for you to get involved, join a team, and live on purpose for Christ.

What to expect
Our connect team will welcome you into our building and help you navigate where to go! From there, our hosts will let you know how the night will flow, share about ways to be involved and how God is moving in our community. You’ll experience worship through song, hear a message that applies specifically to this age range, and have the opportunity to meet others before you leave.
Who is this for
This ministry is for 18-29 year olds. Whether you attend a Woodside Bible Church campus, another church in the area, or do not have a home church…you have a place here.
When to arrive
Doors open at 6:45. Our connect team is ready to welcome you in, answer any questions you have, and help you feel at home. Programming starts at 7! We recommend getting there before we start so you don’t miss anything.
what to bring
You can bring a Bible or journal if you desire.
Worship
You can expect intentional time in worship to allow space to rest in and be reminded of God’s love.
Teaching
Our messages are straight from Scripture and aim to speak directly to the hearts of young adults in our community and context.
After Parties
Each Thursday, we want to honor your time and commitment to showing up by creating an environment you love to be in! Whether you need to pray with someone, ask questions with a leader, or want to eat free snacks and chat with friends…we highly encourage sticking around for a newly themed hangout every week.
Events
Around once a month, we have an event that themes out our entire night! These nights vary from worship nights, holiday celebrations, free dinners and more. Follow us on Instagram and stay up-to-date with our calendar to know what is coming when.
Third Thursdays
On Third Thursdays, we break from our regularly scheduled evenings to do specific equipping and community nights. We offer men’s ministry, women’s ministry, workshops with Q&A, and host “new here” dinners for those who are…well, newer to our church.
